help...

hi all...

in the past i have found some solutions on this list so i'm posting here
again with the hope that somebody can help..

this time the problem is that about 2 months ago i upgraded the quicktime
and iTunes through the software update interface and since then neither of
them works.. i deleted those folders a few times then reinstalled the
applications also deleted preferences and still nothing.
created a new user to start from scratch and still nothing. on sunday
night there was another update for those 2 applications which i installed
and nothing again... all the other applications work fine...
the system runs 10.3.9 - i can't upgrade yet because am using pro tools
and there are still problems with 10.4 and pro tools...

i'd love to get the quicktime and itunes to where it was before the update
on august 5 2005..

i'd appreciate any help offered...

thanks.....
