"Never had" is clearly incorrect - I can still download Tiger from ADC Connect. Though I seem to recall that was in response to the first DVDs sent out being upgrade rather than full (was there actually any kind of real world difference?).

According to connect it was posted April 18th*, about 6 days after Steve announced the upcoming release.

However, that's not to say that'll be repeated with leopard.

* I'm a little suspicious of that date - my ADC student sub started on the 20th of April, and the "you can download it" email came through after that I'm sure. Shrug.
