True, but documented non-standard behavior is better than undocumented
non-standard behavior.  Presumably iTunes 4.9 will be around for a
while, so it would be nice if its behavior were documented.  Although
I should have followed up with the question: "Does Apple intend to
change this non-standard behavior in a future version of iTunes?"
