Wow! Thank you for investing the time and effort to raise your various concerns. It is helpful to have all these in one place, where we can work through them. Hopefully we'll be able to clarify all of your issues over time, though it may take awhile to catch up on the backlog. :-) We appreciate your patience.

Just to set expectations appropriately: our goal is to ultimately make iTunes the best possible Podcasting citizen, and reflect the needs of the larger community. However. that will take time, and as mentioned earlier we can't comment or commit to specific product features before they are released. Thank you for your understanding.
