I'm not sure I understand the request.  Using the feed validator is as
simple as:

1) Point your favorite browser at http://feedvalidator.org/

2) Enter the URL of your feed, for example:
   http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/podCast?id=2090484

3) Press the validate button.

I'd suggest a slight change: change "real-world" to "high-profile".  I'm
thinking more of the ESPNs and Disneys than the two guys in a garage
making a podcast.

Actually, I do have more, but I was trying to prioritize some of this.

Example: if you look at the keywords in that ESPN feed I keep
referencing, you will see "Lance Armstrong".  How should this be
expressed in keyword list which is separated by spaces?

Example: does it make sense to include itunes tags in an item that
doesn't have an enclosure?  This may seem obvious to people who are
close to the problem, but the more rules that you can nail down and
automate the check for, the quicker you can get useful feeds.
