My name's Tim and I do a simple podcast. I'm not an expert in the
formats and specs, but I've got a quick question about how iTunes is
reading my feed. If this isn't the proper place to take my questions,
I'd be happy to be redirected elsewhere. Let me describe the
symptoms.
1. I have a show, whose description uses a single quote (') that my
blog software (WordPress) nicely converts into an apostrophe
(’). iTunes displays the ugly HTML escape sequence, while
bloglines.com shows the nice apostrophe.
Which HTML escape sequences will it display?
[Curiosity, after my first question is answered] On a related note,
which character sets can iTunes display properly (assuming I've got a
font for that character)?
