- New <itunes:new-feed-url> and <itunes:pubDate> tags. Any reason
why we
need the latter?
I presume that both of these are channel only?
The spec doesn't explicitly state whether <itunes:new-feed-url> is
channel only, but that would make sense.
For <itunes:pubdate> it says "This tag specifies the date and time
when an episode was released [...] If <pubDate> is included, this
value is used over the itunes:pubDate value.". Episodes are items in
a feed.
And it's a good point that both of these are missing from the table
of that shows whether tags apply to the channel or item level, as is
<itunes:image>.
