User-agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.7 (X11/20051011)
I've updated the feedvalidator to the latest (2005-10-20) spec. I
believe I have all the "musts" covered and now am looking to fill out
more of the shoulds.
"Should be utf-8" is already coded and will go online later today.
Others are slightly more tricky. "Supported file formats include .m4a,
.mp3, .mov, .mp4, .m4v, and .pdf." as an example. Clearly enclosures
with .wmv files are legal, it just doesn't make sense to have itunes
specific elements on items that contain such enclosures.
I'm also seeing feeds with itunes elements without any enclosures, I
presume that such feeds merit a warning?
All feeds with any itunes element should also have a language (xml:lang
for atom), itunes:category, and itunes:explicit defined.
These are examples of the types of test caess I am looking for.
Preferably expressed as a small feed, along with some prose as to what
you would expect to see in the warning message.
I'll watch this list for feedback. Feedback is also welcome on the
feedvalidator-users mailing list, and also feed free to use the features
/ bugs / patching mechanisms provided there to make suggestions.

Thanks!
