Re: Updated iTunes RSS Spec

Hi, I'm the developer of Podcast Maker.

You guys are coming along very nicely with the documentation on the specs. There are many things here that answer my questions. The more information you can give us about your process the better for everybody since if our products are more in tune with what you guys are doing it means less end user support for both us and Apple. I'm sure you guys had a barrage of podcasters emailing for support recently.

I propose one simple thing that could help all of us interoperate much better. Make a DTD and have it available at http:// www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.1.dtd. Also version the new changes to new dtd documents so that all of us know _exactly_ what kind of rss feed we are dealing with. Steve Harris mentioned that the keywords are now separated by commas instead of spaces. This and other changes will be much easier to swallow if all of us can validate the xml to a specific version of the specs.

Thanks Steve for letting me know about this thread :)
