Well, despite being susceptible to attacks like inserting <img
src="https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/pingPodcast?feedURL=http://SOME_FEED_WE'D_LIKE_APPLE_TO_BAN">
into a high-traffic web page (hint: ping servers should use POST
instead of GET), it appears that your ping server always returns "200
OK". I tried a number of different non-feed URLs, then feedURL=foo,
and finally no feedURL parameter at all. All returned 200 OK.
Perhaps the error message (if there is one) is hidden in the body of
the response, but as I pointed out earlier, the body is encrypted.
