that has nothing to do with the issue. Safari apparently does
that internally when it detects that a resource is a feed. I
assume it’s to allow applications to register as handlers for
`feed:`.

That would suggest that the Safari feed parser cannot handle your
feed, whatever the reason may be. (I assume ErrorDomain is lingo
akin to ErrorClass or ErrorType, because I’ve heard of this error
in many different cases upon failure to parse the feed.)
