There was a thread on the media-rss list about the invention of so
many properties. The Yahoo! guys claimed it's what their content
partners were asking for.  So, it's a secondhand assertion ;). I
looked for it, but couldn't find it. It could be a case of appeasing
the media guys, knowing full well no one will use the playerUrl (but I
wouldn't know).
