Re: InstallerVise and ARD

I have not, and this is exactly why I never get into installerVise.  I repackage everything I need into an Apple .pkg, so it can be installed via GUI by my techs, scripts and pushed out with a shell script via ssh, ARD, or LANrev, and pushed out if needed via ARD.

InstallerVise locks me out of too many options.

Look at getting the InstallEase from LANRev (it is free now) and you can make a package pretty easily for basic needs.  You could also then look into setting up custom preferences and the like.  You will also need the Developer Tools and IceBerg if you want.

Iceberg is nice because InstallEase can save your "package" as an Apple pkg, IceBerg Project, DMG with all the files and a pkg that contains an uninstall script.
