I've recently set up a new net boot server running 10.6.1 and it works great with all of my netrestore images except when attempting to image a Mid'07 machine. It will flash the globe momentarily and then will show the flashing "?" folder like it can't find a boot volume. This is true rather the drive is formatted or not. Ideas?

Is your netboot set also 10.6.1? Or just the server (which shouldn't matter as much as the netboot set). Which machine(s) are you referring to as Mid'07? I'm assuming they were all Intel by then but I don't remember. What do your logs say while a machine is trying to netboot?

I just reread your post and you mentioned netrestore. If you're referring to Bombich's netrestore, I highly doubt this will work with 10.6 because of the changes to netboot sets. 10.6 now adds booter files for X86_64 architectures and so 10.6 might be looking at a different path for the booter file now.
