Gcc cross compiler

Hi all, I am trying to build a gcc cross compiler for an OSX host and a m68k
target. I notice there are a few recent messages about gcc here. A few
mention a specific list for gcc... I was just wondering if anyone could
point me in the direction of that list as I can't find it at
http://www.lists.apple.com

Also, someone mentioned checking out the gcc sources from apple cvs. I tried
that and couldn't get it to make. Do you have to use a specific tag when you
checkout the source e.g. Cvs checkout -<tag> gcc  ??
