Well, I got the unRAR port to compile and run. Seems to work fine. A
couple things I'd like to try and figure out, tho they don't seem to
affect the program:
1. in the c++ line in the makefile I had to remove the -s option or I'd
get an error about having only indirect symbols in a file. Then I run
strip on the binary. After comparing this binary to other unix builds
and to the older MOSX version, mine is WAY to big (200K vs ~60K). any
ideas on how to get this working?
2. The author used some macros that are defined in system headers:
BIG_ENDIAN and LITTLE_ENDIAN, but only one of those. To get this to run
right (I was getting CRC errors) I had to undefine LITTLE_ENDIAN after
the system headers were loaded. This doesn't seem to affect the
operation of the program, but I'm concerned that something might crop up
since I didn't trace the trail back to the unrar source.
