has anyone managed to build snort <http://www.snort.org> on Mac OS X ?
i want to build an secure box, and wanted to have a look at this
application.
the make command comes with so may errors, i give up :-)
>[server:~/snort-1.8.4] root# make
make all-recursive
Making all in win32
Making all in WIN32-Code
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
Making all in WIN32-Includes
Making all in libnet
make[4]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
Making all in mysql
make[4]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
Making all in rpc
make[4]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
make[4]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'.
Since i'm new to this, i don't know where to start looking...
