case problem

Dear Members,

I am having a slight problem compiling some code that compiles just fine with gcc3.04,3.1,3.2 under linux and solaris. [so what's new... :) ]

To the point(1): Why do the archives only go back till July [disk space?]. I *probably* wouldn't have to write the list if they were available farther back. E.g. I know the case problem has been discussed before because I have found some material about it by searching the archives, but I don't have access to the entire thread because of the simplistic way in which the mailman operates.

To the point(2):
Why the ding-dong is gcc3.1 on MacOSX 10.2.1 quoting me information for my class "Time.h" with the label "time.h" ??

I would love to know the workarounds to (1) and (2). ;)

Please help... I don't want to have to load linuxppc or netbsdppc on my poor mac!!

Thanks,
Ron
