Does madvise(2) work under OS X?

	I have some code using mmap(2) and madvise(2) under FreeBSD and
	it works fine.  The same code under OS X 10.2 always returns
	EINVAL for madvise(2) with correct parameters.  (The address
	and size are the same as for mmap(2) and the call to mmap(2)
	itself works fine.)

	Is madvise(2) broken under OS X ?
