I am trying to build Asterisk (an open source telephony server) on
MacOSX 10.3.5 and I am getting undefined symbols as a result of
linking to 'resolv'. I googled for this error and it returned 17 hits
with various people having had the same problem building other
software, but nobody seems to have found a solution.
here is the complete error message ...
ld: Undefined symbols:
_gethostbyname_r
___mpool_filter
___mpool_get
___mpool_new
___mpool_open
___mpool_put
___mpool_close
___mpool_sync
make: *** [asterisk] Error 1
any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
