I'm building an application which links against libcrypto. Is this
library always installed with the OS? Or, might I need to tell
users how to get hold of it for themselves? (I've seen from the
list archives that different OS versions use different openssl
versions, but it wasn't entirely clear to me whether the openssl
libraries are always present on a particular OS version).
Yes, it's always in /usr/lib.
