No. It's close (at least, I think it is...I don't really know the NeXT ABI, but it's probably close to Linux), but it isn't the same.


We'll hopefully have ABI documentation available on developer.apple.com in a few weeks. In the meantime, the preliminary ABI docs in the Universal Binary Programming Guidelines are largely correct. That is, I think everything that's in the UBPG is correct but there might be more information you'd expect in complete ABI docs that just isn't included.

I'm off to study the UBPG then - and I'll keep an eye on the ADC Reference Library Updates RSS feed.
