Hi,

I maintain <http://aranym.sf.net/> for OSX. I just installed
QuickTime 7.1. Since then I have the following :

g++ -o aranym -F/Users/admin/Library/Frameworks obj/main.o
[]
obj/dlgAlert.o -lm -framework AppKit -framework IOKit -framework CoreFoundation -framework SDL
ld: /usr/lib/gcc/darwin/3.3/libstdc++.a(functexcept.o) illegal reference to symbol: std::logic_error::logic_error(std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > const&) defined in indirectly referenced dynamic library /usr/lib/libstdc++.6.dylib
make: *** [aranym] Error 1
[]
I already had the same problem with the previous update of QT,
and I was forced to use the reinstaller for QT7.0.3.

Why do Apple persists to destroy my devel system ? Will I
need to reinstall QT7.0.3 again, and how I can do it ?

Or is there another way out ?

Last time, there was another solution which IIRC solved this problem:
Install the Mac OS 10.4.0 SDK from the ADC web site (file name 10.4.0_sdk.dmg). On Panther, this gives you a new /usr/bin/ld that took care of the problem.
