This sounds like a question for Orange Micro support.

The card will work as 2 USB 1.1 OHCI controllers without any
additional software, the normal USB stack has no problem with these.
The USB stack does not support the USB 2.0 EHCI controller, so to get
high speed transfers you need Orange's driver.

If you're not getting high speed transfers either the Orange driver
is not working and you need to talk to Orange support or you don't
have a USB 2.0 hard drive.

I would not be surprised if it showed up as only one device in Apple
System Profiler, that usually does not show OHCI devices, so all you
would be seeing is the EHCI device. IORegistryExplorer should give
you more information.

USB, it's not a Dyslexic BUS. (Thanks to TC.)
