Thanks for the extensive answer.

At the moment I load the resources from the driver file preload, system
heap, locked which works fine.
As obvious the file is in the extensions folder and I suppose this handles
by nature being in the system heap - cause the driver resides there, too.

I do not see the driver file, and its resources, being closed before
unloading the driver, or ?
These resources are used in the original resource way. It's some data in
there that the driver uses while running.
