This is a file system question, not a USB question.

Based on your other postings, I suspect the Darwin Drivers...

When you post there, you probably want to post exactly what user benefit you
are trying to provide so that subscribers can put your question into
context. Don't ask them how to use UnmountVol; ask them how to do what you
want to do and tell them why you want to know.
