CATC just came out with a "lower Cost" Bus analyzer a mere $2K that plugs
into a PCMCIA slot in a laptop.(www.catc.com)

You will need to get a USB Bus Analyzer to see what's going on.  They are
expensive.  More than likely, this device is not USB 1.1 compliant, but
that's just a guess.
