Hi list,
I'm new here. I'm new to USB, too. I'm trying to figure out how to make a
Canon LS-12PC USB Keypad/Calculator work under Mac OS X.
The device is Windows-only but HID compliant so my feeling is it shouldn't
be too hard to make it work with Mac OS X.
When I plug it in with loggin enabled, I can see the system looking for a
matching driver. It seems to be happy with AppleUSBKeyboard at first, but
then I get a ControlPacketHandler error and the device is not loaded. With
full loggin enabled, pressing any key on the keypad doesn't trow any message
to the log.
How hard would it be to make this device work with Mac OS X (ie. to write a
driver to make OS X happy)?
