The IOUSBFamily.kext releases 203.4.7 and 203.4.7G5 are now available
for download from the Apple USB web site. These are the release of
IOUSBFamily.kext which shipped with the Mac OS X 10.2.8 software
updates.
IMPORTANT - the 203.4.7 release must only be used on NON-Power
Macintosh G5 systems - all G4 systems, eMAcs, iMacs, iBooks, TiBooks,
and PowerBooks. The 203.4.7G5 release can ONLY be used on Power
Macintosh G5 systems.
These releases of the IOSBFamily can also be used with the new
systems running Mac OS X 10.2.7. Again, the 203.4.7G5 release is only
for the Power Macintosh G5 systems and the 203.4.7 release is only
for the new iBooks and iMacs which were announced recently.
