Unplug device question

'Morning All:

When I unplug my device from the USB cable, I'm getting two messages on my notification callback.

First one is 0xE0000101 (attempting to open) and then 0xE0000010 (Is Terminated).

Why would I get an 'attempting to open' (0xE0000101) message when I've unplugged the device?
