USB Workshop Invitation

Everybody,

We're having a USB Workshop next month!

This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with Apple's USB & WWDR
engineers to get your tough technical questions answered.

We'll do a presentation on the first day, spending the rest of the workshop
working directly with you. We highly recommend that you bring your device
and driver/app sources to get the most out of this event!

Dear Developer,

The Apple Developer Connection is pleased to invite you to a
developer workshop on USB from Wednesday, November 19 through
Friday, November 21 at the Apple campus in Cupertino. Attend this
workshop to learn about developing applications and drivers to
support hi-speed USB 2.0 devices. This a great opportunity to work
with experts and get your latest devices working with Mac OS X.

------------------------------
WORKSHOP STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
------------------------------

This workshop will begin Wednesday morning with a presentation about
USB, followed by Q&A and discussion. Thursday and Friday will be
spent working on your own code and devices with Apple engineers.

You will spend Thursday and Friday working on your own code and
devices. Apple engineers will be on hand to assist with
implementation, discuss conformance test issues and answer questions.

------------------------------
ADVANCE PREPARATION
------------------------------

In order to attend this workshop you must:

1. Bring the USB device(s) that you wish to support. It is strongly
recommended that you bring all existing source code for the
driver or application, even if the source code is for a Windows-
based solution.

2. Identify three areas in your application where you want to see
Dperformance improved.

3. List the technical issues you will work on during the week, and
any other goals you may have for this workshop.

4. Be a registered member of the Apple Developer Connection.

Developers should also be familiar with the USB Family & USB User
Client in Mac OS X.

Apple will provide a desktop computer for your use during the
workshop, however we encourage you to bring your own portable
computer for email and other tasks.

------------------------------
RESERVE YOUR SPOT TODAY
------------------------------

There is no enrollment fee required for participation in this
workshop. You must assume your own travel and hotel expenses.
For the duration of the workshop, Apple will provide you with meals,
refreshments, technical presentations, hands-on technical
assistance, and a development system.

Seating is limited and registration is accepted on a first-come,
first-served basis. We expect this workshop to be very popular, so
we strongly encourage you to reserve your space immediately by
