Why does USB MassStorage not work underMacOSX 10.3.2

Hello
Could someone tell me what difference is USBMassStorage driver between MacOSX
10.2.x and 10.3.x?
I have Mp3player which has USBMassStorage interface (USB1.1). It works under
10.2.x. But it fails to copy files from my Mp3Player to MacOS under 10.3.x.
The error message  is " The finder can not complete the
operations because some data in "xxx.mp3" could not be read or written "(Error
code -36). But it can copy samll file (about 300k)from My Mp3-player to
MaCOSX
