I seem to recall that I got a Syscan TravelScan 464 scanner to work with
Image Capture... I just tried to check it for you, but the unit is dead. (I
haven't used it in a year or two.)

Yeah, and neither does HP as far as I can tell. I asked their pre-sales
folks this question about a scanner and the answer I got was so less than
worthless that it was actually funny to me that they even bothered.
