Hello Sivaram,
For OS 9.2.x, Apple provided a USB Audio class driver. At the time,
the Video Class specification was not complete and no Apple USB video
class driver was developed for OS 9. What you want to implement are
vendor specific drivers to support specific devices of your choosing.
the feasibility for developing a driver for 9 is very low. In fact
it's nonexistent, if you have to ask the question. There is no sample
code for either type of driver and the source code for the Apple USB
Audio driver is not available. You could download the source code for
the OS X Audio class driver, however, the driver for 9 is entirely
different.
For 9, most if not all of the video drivers were developed by a
handful of developers who licensed their code to USB video class
device vendors. A couple of these developers are on this list and can
respond to you privately.
