If you look in the right place, you'll find:

#define kIOUSBTransactionTimeout iokit_usb_err(81) // 0xe0004051 Transaction timed out

Also note the time stamps, the device is not responding to any request from the Mac, it has to timeout each transaction, its taken nearly a minute and a half to get that far.

I have really no idea how Windows manages to enumerate that device. We ask it a simple question, roughly "What do you do", it says it'll get back to us and then never does.

This is really an incredibly broken device, and it amazes me it ever escaped into the wild.
