Hi all,

I had an unusual situation with my Mac OS 9.2 USB Driver. It exports an USBEntry (a function Ptr)

symbol along with USBDriverDescription and USBClassDispatchTable symbols. I accessed these

symbols from an application to control the USB device. In Debug mode when the functionPtr USBEntry

is called, the function call was successful. But in standalone mode of the application, system is

hanging when USBEntry function call is encountered.

Please suggest any reasons why the application is hanging while calling the driver functionPtr.

Is there any other way of calling the driver functions (exported symbols) from application?

I have used the following APIs in getting the usb driver symbols.

USBGetNextDeviceByClass, FindSymbol
