Your Panther-built IOUSBHIDDriver-based kext should work on Tiger.
If it's not, it is a bug in our stuff. I will test this and report
back, although I find it difficult to believe, as it is something
that we test.
A Tiger-built IOUSBHIDDriver-based kext will never work on Panther.
We guarantee forward binary compatibility, but not backwards binary
compatibility.

is there a
way to build a driver that will be compatible on both?
