I updated rdar://4084302 with a 2-machine kernel trace (showallstacks
+ showallthreads) of a dual 1Ghz G4 running 10.4.2 and whose
IOUSBFamily is hung in USBInterfaceOpen. My process was trying to
open a device and this blocked the whole USB stack, as previously
reported.
It's weird that the hang didn't happen during nearly 2 months, then
suddenly it happened twice in a row (plus a third time when I plugged
a Bluetooth dongle).
Anyway, this time there will be enough information for you guys to
find out where the issue lies in IOUSBFamily!
