You can decode this error in IOReturn.h. It is a data overrun. More
than likely, your device returned too many bytes when we asked for
the first 8 bytes of the device descriptor. Or, maybe it returned
too many bytes when we asked for the full 18 bytes. I should change
the "did not respond" to "responded with error".

I'm using USBProber (Mac OS X 10.4.2) to check the descriptors of a
high speed USB device under development. I'm receiving the error
message:
unknown device (did not respond to inquiry - 0xe00002e8)
How can I interpret the hexadecimal value 0xe00002e8 ?
