I did try it, and in fact, that's where I started before I got the USBCDC example. His code is derived from the USBCDC example, and I don't think it adds a lot. I was able to get to where it was panicking, too, and that's when I decided to start with the unadulterated Apple example.


 If you are patient, you might be able to narrow down where
the panic is occuring.

Excellent advice. In fact, that's exactly how I was proceeding, and when I finally got it to connect to an endpoint, that's when it started crashing. I'm not too worried about that yet; I've barely begun to debug it.
