Re: CDC Ethernet Driver & Gumstix

The latest driver (Garth pointed to) does have the latest fixes but because of code for multi-function devices makes it much more complex. If you have a single function device (which you do) then staying with the Ethernet device driver may be your best bet.

ACM is the Abstract Control Model (for modems) driver. ECM is the Ethernet Control Model (the one you are interested in) driver. WMC is the Wireless Handset Control Model (for multi-funtion cell phones) driver. All of these are interface drivers and the AppleUSBCDC driver is the controlling device driver.

Thanks!

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but how do I check these out with cvs? That is, what's the path? I tried cvs co AppleUSBSCDCEthernet, Current/AppLEUSBCDCEthernet, and darwinsource/Current/AppleUSBCDCEthernet. It can't find any of those.

The more I look at the CVS instructions on Apple's site, the more I wonder about how to get at these samples.

As always, help is appreciated!
