Hi I'm running into an interesting problem with our USB device driver. Basically we have a USB DSL modem device driver that originally was developed on OS 10.1.5. It's working fine on different version of OS X expect G5 10.3.7 (probably 10.3.8 as well) and 10.4. It's not easy to debug this issue because: 1) it's hard to reproduce it (it happens after about 15 hours of data transmit ion) 2) After that there is a kernel panic. I want to setup/use remote debugging but I'm facing couple of problems: 1) Target Mac is G5 (OS X 10.3.7) but development Mac is a G3 (OS X 10.1.5). With this configuration, is it possible to use gdb for remote debugging? 2) How should I setup target to go to debugging mode when kernel panic occurs? 3) What should I do on development Mac? 4) Any detail document on this subject would be helpful.
