Yes, I have the logging IOUSBFamily installed on OSX 10.3.4.
I connected eight LEDs to my EZ-USB portB and examined interrupts the chip gets.

When the board is connected directly to Mac, the chip gets SUDAV, Bulk Endpoint0 out
(SetLineCoding), and Bulk Data Endpoint Out interrupts.

I have three results on the same host application with my board connected to USB hub.
(1) The chip does not get any interrupt.
(2) The host machine crushes.
(3) The chip gets SUDAV and Bulk Data Endpoint Out interrupts.

Probabilities of these cases are roughly P(1) : P(2) : P(3) = 4 : 2 : 1 _______________________________________________
