Sorry about that. I remember those emails, I just don't remember that punch line. I even responded to that email, but to a different part.

Looking at my reply I see it was made at 10pm on a Saturday, from work. We were in the middle of crisis mode on a different project. I think I was a bit distracted.

In general, if you're reporting a bug its safest to use the bug reporter. <http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/index.html>. That gets it into our system where its tracked and should not fall between the cracks.
