My experiences with the Developer Transition System has been excellent.
So far I have ported the drivers and application support software for
the Keyspan USB/Serial adapters and the Keyspan USB Server.
I'm not aware of any USB issues related to the new hardware. Most of
my issues have been related to updating older code to gcc 4 and XCode
2.1. Since the IOKit driver for the Keyspan USB Server does network
communication, it had a few endian bugs which had to be sorted out.
(If there any users of those devices who have Transition Systems and
want beta drivers that have been updated, please e-mail me.)
Thanks, Apple, for all of the hard work that makes this developer
transition quite clean.

I understand that lots of Developer Transition Systems have
shipped, and we've been wondering what USB developer experiences
are with those systems. Have you tested your devices and built
your drivers for universal distribution? If you haven't ordered
one, you can still do that at http://developer.apple.com/
We are aware of some issues (Isoc buffers much be allocated in
contiguous physical memory), but we think support for the USB
controllers in those systems is pretty robust. However, we would
like to hear it direct from developers.
