I wrote about this problem but give more information.
USB device: Motorola V60(i), V66, T280(i)
OS 10.3.x - device detected and work.
OS 10.4 - device detected and work.
OS 10.4.1 - device not detected.
OS 10.4.2 - device not detected.

So, about error:
