Re: Palm Trio 600

The Treo 600 reports {0x082d, 0x0300} for vendorID/productID. A complete and up to date list of known device vendorID/productID for Palm OS handheld is maintained in my USB driver code for Mac OS X in the pilot-link project (I'm also the maintainer of libpisock, the core synchronization code).

You can browse the up-to-date version of darwinusb.c, the USB userland driver code for Darwin, at:

There is a table of known device vendorID/productID near the beginning on the file.

Christopher, depending on what you're trying to do, I may be able to help. The USB driver code I wrote and maintain (darwinusb.c) is quite stable and powerful, and works very well with a wide range of Palm OS devices.

I keep a database of PalmOS vendor and device IDs inside the jSyncManager (http://www.jsyncmanager.org), and don't have an entry for the Treo 600. Prior Treos all used 0x0200 as their device ID, and I'd like to confirm whether or not this has changed.

    What are you trying to send/receive to/from the Treo via USB?
