Good to know. Which configuration is the default? Is it the lowest numbered config, or the highest, or something else? Is there any selection criteria given to configurations?

You can check with the source, but its trying to find the highest supportable power configuration. For configurations with equal power requirements I think it'll take the first.


There's also a property you can set to choose a configuration.

AppleUSBComposite matches to the device.

It could be getting confused by weird descriptors. I'd make sure the descriptors were correct before moving on to more interesting things.
