Since you based your transport on my working darwinusb code from the
pilot-link project (http://cvs.pilot-link.org/index.cgi/libpisock/
darwinusb.c?rev=1.52&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup), you can
study my code more carefully as it works under all conditions. I
already went through the issues you are seeing, my code solves them
all (at least, those I know of).
