RE: USB Prober & USB logger in Mac OS X (10.3.7)

Yes, I am using the USB Prober of /Developer/Applications/Utilities.
When I first selected the USB Logger Tab, it has shown the message to
install the kLog.kext. After the instalation of kLog.kext, system
has restarted also. But usb logger is not showing any messages where
as usb probber has shown the details of devices connected (related to
Device descriptors, Configuration descriptors.) But the Logger shows
nothing except the error message "LogUser: [ERR] Could not set
notification port 10000003" even I disconnected and connected the USB
Keyboard and mouse.

I have checked this with five apple machines , situation is same in all
cases. Seems it is a problem with USB logger shipped with Mac OS X
10.3.7.

Thanks and Regards,
Sivaram Prasad

Sounds like you have a really old version of USB Prober. For the
last year or so, the version shipped will automatically install the
kLog.kext required to get kernel messages.

Where did you get the developer tools that you installed? Are you
running the version of USB Prober found in
/Developer/Applications/Utilities ?
